Kauri Lodge is a substantial permanently occupied residence that has undergone an extensive redevelopment and reconstruction programme. It is equally suited as a full-time family home (plus income), executive retreat, lifestyle property, or luxury holiday residence.
2. How far is the property from Wainui Beach?
The property is approximately a four-minute walk from the renowned Wainui and Okitu Beach coastline, one of New Zealand's premier surf and recreational beach destinations.
3. Does the property include a separate dwelling?
Yes. The property includes the consented Kauri Cabin, a fully self-contained standalone accommodation unit with its own services, private deck, and parking area.
4. Can the property generate income?
The current owners have successfully operated Airbnb accommodation from both the Kauri Cabin and parts of the main residence. Prospective purchasers should undertake their own investigations regarding future accommodation use.
